 in 1954 on November 20th each year to promote international day together and spread the awareness among the children worldwide.In Pakistan almost million people are deprived of education facilities ,many children need good health ,education and shelter activities ,there is a much attention to be paid to their resources and good life facilities.children have right to speak ,express and enjoy good health .it is the duty of parents to give them care love and affection ,appreciate them when they do good,develop association and trust on them ,never threat them when they are doing wrong because man learn by making mistake.,teacher are responsible to teach them according to their level of learning and never insult them in class ,students never forget the good teachers and their teachings .always support them to take part in good learning activities.i wish all the children to good luck for future

Behaviors actually are reflections of our personal life and personality.

Behaviors have great impact on our inter-personal and social life.

Behaviors make up and spoil our character.

In every-day life where our personal and social life depends upon each others support.  We cannot live our lives in isolation. Every moment we need each other’s support for economic needs and matters, and also for social life we help one another morally and by all other means of human development. We are always ready to support one another in happiness and sorrows. We have to keep up the relations in all situations. Spiritually we need each other, whenever someone is in problem or sick we always pray for him/ her, we extend greetings and prayers and best wishes. We at once change behaviors and try to show our sympathies for others and always show positive behavior.

Living our lives with all these social, emotional, economic concerns and spiritual concerns, we always show good gestures being human in nature. But beyond all these moral and social ethics we some times get aggressive and more emotional and create problems for other society members, and make the environment sad and frustrating.

We have to think and see how we can

Tips on Class room management

Class room management is an essential component for best teaching skills. The following skills teacher must have:

1)      Time management: teacher must divide the period of time regarding previous knowledge ,implementation of lesson and home work delivery

2)      Well planned lesson:  teacher must be well equipped and must enter full prepared in class

3)      Participatory approach :  try to maximum involve the students and call the in front time to time

4)      Create interest in the subject matter: teacher material must be interesting and according to needs of the children

5)      Appropriate teaching methodology select best teaching method and make it easier for children and flexible when it is required

6)      Must develop Professional behavior :  inculcate  good teaching skills and behavior ,so u can be considered best teacher

7)      Avoid discrimination :  try to avoid personal liking and must treat equally to all

8)      Discipline : control the class in well mannered way

9)      Encouragement :  appreciate the students time to time

10)   Reflection of the personality : our own perfection and dedication can inspire them lot

                                                 EMPATHY

Empathy is also known as "being able to put yourself in someone else's shoes". It's the trait whereby we understand the feelings, behaviors and intentions of others, and care. It obviously helps kids to socialize with others and makes school a happier place.

Some experts say that Empathy is more important than reading and writing it promotes good behavior, problem solving, confidence and decreases bullying.

How can we develop empathy in our children?

Is it something we learn in schools? Or these lessons come from their parents.

Without empathy you can-not have meaningful friendship

Empathy is the first stage of conflict resolution.

  

How terrible the summer in Pakistan

The world is beautiful place in the universe, when the world will become peaceful place? God created this world peaceful place on earth. But the natural and man-made circumstances has spoiled the environment and made this place a terrible place for living things, which include humans, animals and birds.

The increasing developments to find more and more facilities and leisure’s for life, the scientific changes have destroyed the natural beauty of the world.

As writer in the essay “whistling of birds” describes that winter in western parts of the world is not source of life, but it becomes source of death for the birds.  

Winter season in Pakistan is not much terrible in the eastern sides but it is worse in the north. In Pakistan northern areas do not have many developments for safe and security regarding weather conditions in winter and also infrastructure is poor for people’s safety as well as for animals.

If we talk about summer season in Pakistan, as many writers they describe their observations that winter is worse and terrible in western countries, I would say that hot weather or summer is terrible in plain areas in Pakistan. Especially for the poor people the summer is not a blessing but ------------.

The temperature is at peak in plain areas, it increases up to 50 c⁰ . The sun radiations makes everything warm, even it sometime burn everything.

It is very surprising fact that people die of heat, just they did not have facilities to keep themselves safe. In whistling of birds, the writer says that birds die of winter, but here in our part of world humans die of hot summer, medical treatment, die of dengue, die of hunger etc. these are strange facts.

In summer most of the population of Pakistan sleeps outside in the courtyards of the house or in the streets under the open sky. Large numbers of communities do not enjoy basic facilities. Majority of the population live in 500 -800 sq-ft houses along with 8-10 family members, where some people wait for one another to go for job and others get chance to sleep. Most of the population are laborers have to work in the hot weather. That means these people do not enjoy comfort at work place and also do not have facility at home to sleep in peaceful and calm place.

Load shedding (power failure) is bitter truth which has made peoples life unsafe and miserable. People are helpless to claim for peaceful life. Hot summer weather is one calamity but the other man made calamity has been imposed by the government on the poor people.

Hot weather in summer is very dangerous for humans but it is terrible for animals and birds. Especially street dogs and cats and other pet animals die in summer. Summer becomes terrible when these animals and birds do not find place to hide them from hot calamity.

I myself feel frightened, when spring is passing and summer is going to start. I compare it as it is natural calamity from God, now people who are not strong enough to bear the hot weather conditions will be in difficulty. Hot summer will disturb many lives. When there is no electricity people use to hide under the shades of trees and walls. Hours and hours heat plays with the lives of people. The sweating sometimes causes dehydration and ends at death penalty.      

LEARNING DIFFERENCES AMONG CHILDREN

Now a days we see that children are very active and good learners.they have good communication skills and are keen observer. The school going children are more interested in extra curricular activities and participated in learning opportunities.some of the students have best learning powers

but some students take time to understand the things. it is the duty of parents and teachers to help them and guide them regarding subject matter give them proper time table and share their difficulties .the activities of brilliant students must be watched they must utilize their talent in positive direction .teachers counselors and parents must find their best interest.learning difference is not a big issue ,but development a sincere understanding can enhance their learning abilities.

AMANA is a small girl of sixth standard .she forgets her lesson in exams ,so she need more practice of learning but parents instead of helping are more anxious about her grades in class .she shared that her class teacher do not appreciate her for having good writing skill.she is innocent and can be improved with love care attention and mutual understanding of parents and teachers

Values of Education

Every day we learn values of Education in our life. Values make our way of life and give us direction to live our life in a successful manner. The society, institutions teach us values. The most useful and powerful way to learn values is considered the educational institutional platforms. Where children in their early ages are sent to get education for life, which comprises of social and educational learning of academics, traditional and cultural values. What are values of education actually?

Values of Education actually are to learn to live according to the cultural and traditional norms of the society. We adopt our own culture and traditions and grow accordingly and pass on to our generations the values of our forefathers and society. In Schools and Universities we go to learn human values like;  Respect, love, Responsibility, loyalty, punctuality and many others.

Values of Educations make the society more civilized. Values of education also promote and enhance our old traditional values. A value of education also creates diversity through institutional learning.  Values of education also provide an opportunity to people of diverse cultures to come together and learn each other’s culture and traditions.

In today’s world people are more materialistic, more professional, more selfish and do not bother about values of culture and traditions. People are on facebook, cell phones all the time for business, and information, and finding entertainment. It does not make difference among the parents and children.

When we talk about values of education, and we see the changing trends of our education system, and daily changing social behaviors of the children and elders, for a moment we find our-selves no- where that our children really growing in a society where they are learning values. The social media is playing vital role in promotion of cultural and traditional values. The diversity in cultural and traditional values making the children learn all cultures and we are forgetting our own traditions. I see decade back, when I can remember that children were taught about cleanliness in the schools, the students were obeying the teachers to clean their class (picking the wrappers) after the break during school time. But now days I have experienced that teachers can-not order the students to pick up the wrappers. Students simply say that, I am not servant, although may be that child would belong to very poor class of society.   

The diversity in education has changed the class room teaching and learning. In this Era of social media, the children although they belong to poor family background or rich family background have earned self-respect.

In this Era of diversity in education system, children have also earned to learn abusive culture. Children have been reached early in their age of maturity. The teen age have been reduced to its maximum age of 9 years.

 The schools are failing to teach children the values of respect, love and responsibility.

It was time when students only listen to teachers for values, that my teacher has taught me to respect parents. But now days children follow face book posts that values are only that what my friends are saying……….

If we look back decade or two.. in government schools values of education period was taken on every Friday, which was called “ Bazam-e- Adab” and values of love, respect and discipline were taught. But now days it is surprise to share that in this “Bazam-e-Adab period students on the assembly point are told about “Dengue” mosquito or other issues.  The awareness on health issues has overcome values of education.

Standards of Education in Pakistan

Pakistan does not have proper standards of education and there is no equality in the education system. There are no opportunities for the poors to have access in the well renowned educational institutions. In this computer age, yet Pakistan’s billions of children are out of schools. The primary level education has alarming situation. There are barriers and challenges for the parents to have access to primary school for their children enrolment. There are many international and national, local NGO’S playing vital role for the enrolment of rural areas children to get into schools. The question arises here that, will these children stay long time in the schools for regular education?

How standards can promote equality in the education systems?

The education system in Pakistan varies between Public/Govt. and Private schools and institutions. There is no clear fee structure in the private schools and institutions. There is not enough qualified staff and salaries of the teachers. There is no clarity about the strength of the students in the classrooms. Due to over strength and lack of no. of teachers in the schools, the quality education and standards of education and results are not achieved.

In many rural areas of the remote districts of Punjab and other provinces, there is no check and balance of day to day activities and regularity of the students and teachers in the schools.

It has been observed over the past years that government has appointed qualified young staff members in the remote rural areas, and the schools physical infrastructure has been improved. But there is still great need of monitoring and evaluation of punctuality of the students and teachers. There is great need of regular training workshops and seminars for the newly appointed teachers to develop systems instead of getting use to of the old traditions and systems.

SCHOOL S AND ACADEMIES

When we talk about Schools and Academies lot questions comes in mind. Why children are sent to school? Why children are sent to Academies? What is the difference between School and Academy? Why schools are not performing well that children rush towards academy to get good marks? Why schools are not offering quality education? Why teachers do not teach well in the schools? Why teachers in Academies teach well, and students believe that they will get good marks?

Education has become nowadays a “big business”

Studying 6-7 hours in school and 3-4 hours in academy affect the social life of the students.

First of all if we look into the difference between school and academy, there are many factors involve which makes the difference, like Efficiency/Performance, information/awareness. In many ways schools and academies are same types of institution; academies are short term but also small institutions. But schools are long term institutions with big infrastructures. Now day’s schools also work like academies in the evening time just to raise income for survival.  Schools provide full environment to the students for studies, but academies to some extent provide environment of studies but lack some criteria for facilities. No Difference between schools and academies but is just to raise money or earn business.

Sending child in two places for studies increase burden on child’s mind and stop physical growth. Mostly children do not eat healthy food due to engagement in studies all the time; they just eat biscuits, chips, cold drinks etc.

Most of the parents are illiterate or do not have time to teach or do not have ability to teach. So they find tutors for their children and the parents are ready to spend extra money for tuitions.  

Schools sometimes impose teaching therefore teachers do not bother to teach well in the class room, mostly teachers in schools do not teach with responsibility and sometimes suggest children to join academies. There are two reasons for these problems, the teachers have low income or salaries, and pressure from the management, and are engaged into extra- curricular activities so that teachers cannot teach properly.

Many academies are producing good results, but these academies increase tuition fee as they get good results, this is something strange trend, which shut the doors for poor students to enter the good academies.

I would say “For Education, there must be balanced approach for promotion, where all must have equal opportunities and access for study”.

Summer Vacations and Summer Camps                            

Summer Vacations in Pakistan every year starts as the sun heat increases across the country. This year in 2017 summer vacations across the Punjab started with the increase in heat. As private and Govt. schools not having enough heat prevention facilities for the children to accommodate in the schools, so children are bound to stay home for 2 and half month for rest or studies.

It is a big question for all of us that why children given summer holidays?

a)       Is it for rest or to keep them safe from heat?

b)       What is the purpose of summer homework?

c)       What is the purpose of summer camps for children?

d)       Why to pay summer vacation fee to schools?

e)       Picnic/tours

Parents and teachers do not think that children must take rest during summer vacations, the children are sent to summer camps near the home based schools, they are sent to academies, or home tuitions are arranged to keep the child busy for study.

Does Summer Camp means to study only or to enjoy time by studying together with children groups?

Yes summer camp means to enjoy summer time by improving learning by different healthy activities. Children are put together into groups to study, either the syllabus text or another topics on social issues or current affairs. So by enjoying children learn more. Summer camp gives tension free environment to children to learn without any kind of fear or burden. 

As we see the weather conditions children do not bother about heat they want to enjoy in all circumstances. Parents want to keep them busy. Schools authorities given them homework to keep them in touch with studies instead of wasting time at home. Schools are worried about that if the child will stay home for couple of months and will not study will forget many things and that’s why the home work is designed for the children.

What are the advantages of summer vacation homework for children?

a)       Children get time to study.

b)       Children write, and improve their handwritings.

c)       Make best use of time during summer for studies

d)       Improve their learning  while studying with parents in their leisure time

 During summer vacations children also enjoy tours to hill stations with their parent. These tours are different from study tours as they visit with fellow children.

Every child enjoy different time during summer, some visit hills or some visits their relatives and stay with them long and enjoy with their cusions or friends, and enjoy Luddo, Carom board, cricket in the streets, or

CHILDREN NEED ATTENTION    

CHILDREN NEED ATTENTION ,LOVE AND CARE OF PARENTS .SOMETIMES WE FEEL WHEN THEY GROW UP THEY ARE ADULT SO THEY DO NOT NEED US BUT ,ACTUALLY THEY HAVE TO BE VERY CONFIDENT PROMINENT AND STUNNING WITH OUR SMALL EFFORT .

b.       NEVER HESITATE TO INVOLVE THEM FOR TASKS

c.       DEVELOP SHARING FOR ALL AGES  OF CHILDREN

d.       REFLECT SOME OF YOUR OWN QUALITIES ON THEM ,SO THEY GET INSPIRATION

e.       ALWAYS HELP THEM IN LEARNING ,AND GIVE THEM RIGHT DIRECTION

f.        BE POSITIVE FOR THEIR MISTAKES AND HANDLE THEM WITH CARE

g.       BE CONSCIOUS ABOUT THEIR COMPANY ,PEER GROUPS

h.       GIVE THEM CHANCES TO REFRESHMENT ,ENJOYMENTS AND EXPOSURE OF VISITING OTHER PLACES

i.         YOU MUST BE KNOWN WHICH FOOD THEY LIKE TO EAT

j.         ALWAYS TAKE CARE OF THEIR NEEDS AND GUIDE THEM IN PROPER WAY IN A SECRET MANNER

k.       TEACH THEM VALUES,LOVE HONESTY BRAVERY ,HARD WORK  BUT GUIDE THEM WITH EXAMPLE
